Setup
Install with Load unpacked
Until Chrome Web Store approval, use Developer mode. Same steps for Chrome, Edge, and Opera.
Extract first — browsers load a folder, not the ZIP itself.

Download & extract
Download the ZIP below, then extract it to a folder you will keep (for example
Documents/genpbr-capture). Do not leave it only in Downloads if you clean that folder often. - 2
Open extensions
In the address bar open
chrome://extensions(Chrome),edge://extensions(Edge), oropera://extensions(Opera). - 3
Enable Developer mode
Toggle Developer mode in the top-right of the extensions page. This is required for Load unpacked until the store listing is live.

Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json (not the parent ZIP, and not a nested empty wrapper).

Pin GenPBR Capture
Open the toolbar puzzle / extensions menu and pin GenPBR Capture for quick access to free-use status and API key settings.
